The Environment Department, Government of Maharashtra has initiated the Environment Service Scheme for secondary and higher secondary schools in the state, with the objective of providing students an opportunity to explore and understand their local environment and natural resources, and to undertake hands-on activities and action projects for environmental improvement and conservation.
